Frequently Asked Questions
車位來了: set your destination and we notify you the moment a parking spot opens up nearby, with one tap to navigate there.
Common questions about 車位來了 are answered below. If you can't find what you need, email us at info@autoit.studio.
What does 車位來了 do?
Set your destination and search radius, and our system checks local government open data every minute. The moment a parking spot opens up nearby, we notify you and one tap starts navigation.
Is it free?
Joining and using watch notifications is completely free.
Which cities are currently covered?
Currently Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Taichung City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Keelung City, Hsinchu City, Changhua County, Nantou County, Chiayi City, Yilan County, Kinmen County, Lienchiang County, with more to come as government open data becomes available.
Do I need to download an app?
No, the web version works on its own. On iPhone you must add the site to your Home Screen first to receive web push notifications — see the "How to Get Notified" guide.
How fresh and accurate is the parking data?
Data comes from each local government's open data, refreshed roughly every minute. Spots marked "possibly unavailable" or "unconfirmed" have older or interrupted data and are for reference only — arrival never guarantees a spot is still open, so always follow on-site signage.
What do I do after getting a notification?
Each notification includes a one-tap navigation button plus three response buttons: Parked, Switch to next spot, and No longer needed. Your response ends or continues that watch accordingly.
Which notification channels are supported?
Web push, Email, LINE, and Telegram notifications are all supported now.
How do I delete my account or data?
You can delete your own account from Account Settings, which erases your personal data. Operation logs are retained permanently as required by policy, and watch history is auto-deleted after 30 days. See the account deletion info page for details.
How do I link LINE to my account?
Sign in, go to Account Settings, tap "Add friend" to add our official account, then send "綁定" (bind) in the chat to complete linking; once linked you can send your location directly to look up nearby spots.
What does "may be unusable" mean?
The system flags a spot automatically based on its history: one left unoccupied for a long time, or on a segment where other spots are often full, is marked "may be unusable" — it does not count as available and never triggers a notification; it returns to normal once someone actually parks there.
What does the "Switch to next spot" button do?
Whether the spot gets taken by someone else or you would simply rather park elsewhere, tap this button any time and we will immediately look for and push the next matching spot while continuing to watch for you.
Is my location data kept?
Yes. Your watch destination, search radius, and query locations are recorded in the operation log to verify how the service is used; the operation log is retained permanently as required by policy, while watch records themselves are auto-deleted after 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.
I selected LINE — why didn't I get a notification?
Each spot alert is sent through only one channel, in priority order: App, Web push, LINE, Telegram, Email. A later channel like LINE is only used if an earlier channel you enabled isn't confirmed delivered within 2 minutes — so if you also enabled App or Web push, this is expected.
